Supporting a QWL and WC approach

The QWL and WC approach at the heart of corporate performance

The QWL and WC approach seeks to harmonize corporate performance with employee well-being. By ensuring satisfactory working conditions, enabling employees to engage in meaningful, high-quality work, and encouraging their input, this approach fosters both individual fulfillment and organizational performance.

In what context should a QWL and WC approach be implemented?

A company never starts from scratch when it comes to QWL and WC.

First of all, it's important to make the most of the actions already in place. A company's desire to structure its QWL and WC approach may stem from the observation of malfunctions or processes in need of improvement. It may also involve a change that will have an impact on employees.

It may also be an opportunity to reflect on actions to be included in the Mandatory Annual Negotiations (MAN)

What topics should be covered in a Quality of Work Life (QWL) and Working Conditions initiative ?

The fields that can be tackled through QWL and WC are vast. That's why it's important to first identify the company's priority issues. Thus, the topics covered may relate to material and technical conditions (premises, tools and working environments, etc.). They may also concern organizational working conditions (working hours, workload, distribution of functions, etc.). Or social and relational working conditions (working relationships and cooperation, management methods, etc.). Occupational health and equal opportunity issues are an integral part of QWL and WC initiatives.

Our support

Pros-Consulte can support you at every step of your project :

Stage 1: structuring the approach

Setting up the approach, identifying the main issues, involving key players, defining the framework, stages and work process.

Step 2: Diagnosis

Diagnosis and shared assessment to identify areas for improvement in work processes

Stage 3: Experimentation

Operational time, which enables progress to be made towards new ways of operating : analysis of work situations to be changed through the setting up of work discussion forums (WDF).

Stage 4 : sustainability of the approach

Establishment of the organisational, human and technical resources that will enable the QWL and WC approach to be rolled out across the company and sustained over the long term.

Depending on your company's situation and the QWL and WC measures already in place, we can also provide ad hoc support at a specific step.
